We are a real-time, on-demand pick up and drop off service for your everyday lifestyle chores including Laundry, Dry-Cleaning, Shoe Care, and Alterations. We’re driven by convenience and customer service is our top most priority.
How does NimNim work?
Download the app. Choose your services. Enter your contact details and hit submit. We’ll take care of the rest!
How can I schedule my first pick up?
Create an account, choose your task, select your pickup and drop off times, leave your order specifics (wash it separately, non-fragrant products) in the ‘Notes’ section. Put your items in a proper bag for transportation, then sit back and relax, you’ve got 24 hours.
What is the turnaround time for Laundry? Dry-Cleaning? Shoe Care? Alterations?
You can expect a 24-hour turnaround for Laundry and Dry-Cleaning. Shoe Care and Alterations typically take place within 2-3 business days depending on the severity of the service needed.
How will I know my order has been submitted?
You will receive an email confirmation to ensure your order has been submitted. You will receive an SMS message from your NimNim Consultant when he/she is on the way!
Do I need to separate colors for laundry?
No, leave it to us. Once your laundry is with us, we’ll do everything.
Can I add special instructions?
Of course, we love working on your special requests! If you don’t find the customization to meet your needs in the app, just leave a description in the ‘Notes’ section and/or reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560 for further assistance.
I haven’t received a confirmation email after placing an order. What should I do?
If you have not received a confirmation mail, please reach out to us at email@example.com with your order details. If the order hasn’t been placed, we’ll verify your details and will place an order at our end.
Account and Profile Management
Why can’t I log onto my app?
Technical glitches are the worst. We request you to log-out and log-in again after ensuring your app is updated. If you still aren’t able to log in, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560 for further assistance.
How can I reset my password?
You can reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login screen and follow the steps provided. If that doesn’t work, reach out to email@example.com or (857)-244-9560 for further assistance.
How can I update payment details on my account?
If you need to update your card details, you can get in touch with the team at NimNim on firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560 for further assistance.
How can I update my address?
Update your address by editing your profile details in the ‘Profile’ section of the app.
Can I specify my preferences in the app and save them for my next order?
Currently this is not an option. In our upcoming version, NimNim 2.0, this will be an option. For the time being please utilize our ‘Notes’ section for any specific requests.
Can I communicate with my Consultant (driver)?
Yes. Once your Consultant has reached out to you, feel free to call or text on the corresponding number
How can I pay for NimNim?
You can input your payment credentials into the app when you download it. We accept all major credit/debit cards. If you’d like Cash on Delivery, you can let us know through the ‘Notes’ section. You will be billed at the time of delivery.
Do I need to submit a minimum order?
We have a minimum of 15 lbs. for Wash, Dry and Fold service and a $20 minimum for Dry-Cleaning only. A $3.99 delivery charge will be applied for orders under $35.
Will I be charged for bed sheets submitted during Laundry?
You will not be charged extra for your bed sheets. They will be weighed at the regular laundry rate of $1.59/lbs. (*Comforters cost $30/unit).
What if I have items that need to be ‘hang-dried’ (i.e. cannot be dried)?
We request you to place the items that you wish to be ‘hang-dried’ in a separate bag labeled accordingly. The rate for hang-drying items is $7/lbs. Please understand that the amount of items being hang-dried may impair our ability to get them back to you in 24-hours.
What if I have missed using my coupon code and have already placed the order?
Don’t worry, you can reach out to us at email@example.com and we’ll manually add your coupon code or you can use it in your next order.
How can I know about the latest coupon codes?
We have a special code for all our new customers. Use NIMNIM to get $10 OFF on your first order. For the latest codes, you can keep a lookout for our newsletters. If you have subscribed yet, you can subscribe HERE (add link).
Do you offer a promo code for first-time users?
Yes! Use the code NIMNIM to save $10 on your first order.
What should I do if laundry isn’t picked-up or dropped-off at the designated time?
We try our best that this situation doesn’t arise. However, in case your order is late, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560.
What if I miss a pick-up or delivery?
If you miss a pick up or delivery, simply let us know via text or email when you would like the order to be rescheduled for.
How can I track my order?
We keep you updated at every step! You will receive notifications every time your order reaches a milestone. From pick-up to drop-off, you’ll know exactly at which stage your order is.
Can I give special pickup instructions to the driver?
Yes. When the driver sends an SMS notification stating that he/she is on the way, you may respond with text instructions or call as well.
Do I have to be around when you come for pick-up and drop-off?
Not at all. You can leave your bag outside your home or with the doorman, and we’ll pick it up. We have access to most buildings, however in case we don’t, you can leave special instructions with your apartment doorman.
Is it possible to change my delivery location or order information after placing a confirmed order?
Yes, it is. We ask that you reach out to NimNim ASAP at email@example.com or (857)-244-9560 after placing the order to ensure that your needs may be met.
Do you offer express service?
Yes we do, you can order rush service on the app for an additional $20.
Do I need to return the NimNim Bag?
No, these environmentally friendly bags are for you to keep. Use our bag over and over and when you need a new one, let us know! Let’s save the planet together.
What if I need to reschedule?
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560 ASAP, preferably 1 hour prior to your scheduled delivery. We understand things happen, please let us know as early as possible so everyone can enjoy the NimNim service.
The rush delivery did not arrive in the stipulated time but I was charged for it.
We apologise! If your Rush Delivery didn’t arrive on time, we will reimburse you for the rush delivery fee, and ensure a hassle free experience next time.
What if I need to cancel my NimNim order?
Reach out to NimNim as soon as you realize that you want to cancel your order. No penalties! Just please make sure that someone at email@example.com or (857)-244-9560 confirms your cancellation!
Will I receive a notification when my items are ready for drop off?
Yes! You will receive an SMS on your phone when a NimNim consultant is on the way.
Who will pick up my clothes?
A NimNim Consultant will pick up your clothes. Feel free to ask them anything.
How long will it take for my clothes to come back?
It will take 24-hours from your pickup time to get your clothes back.
Do shoes and tailoring require more time?
Yes, shoe care and tailoring typically take between 2-3 business days depending on the necessary care.
Refund and Cancellation
I haven’t received my order but the app says my order is delivered. Next step?
We try and ensure your order reaches on time and is updated on the app accordingly. However, should there be discrepancy, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (857)-244-9560.
Will I receive a refund if I am not satisfied or receive my laundry damaged?
